Hi guys, does anyone recognize this piston?? I need to get rings for them & part # for piston so I can do top end 1/2 way through season. I got '91SP cylinders from Tom N. a while back (& have lost contact with him). Stamped on top of piston is 966 & on the plain white box in pen is writen F3 966. Anyone shed some light??? Thanks.
Kevin

Kev

its likely its a YEC kit piston for the SP especially since it is stamped F3.

I found some on okshon but never bid as i use TZ stuff. as to where you getthe ring or part number is anyones guess - it could be the same as a sugo item, maybe even a TZ one would fit - worth a try as i wouldn't expect there to be that much of a difference. Check the end gap and groove clearances.

Yep, definitley a YEC 3XV racing piston as Jools suggests. You use 1RK type TZ rings with them as far as I can ascertain.
