Hi I recently ordered a few nos bits online. At the same time they had some cheap spark plugs, so I ordered two sets. The package arrived today and all it contained was the spark plugs and one nos bolt I ordered.
Got in touch with the shop and they have refunded the items as they said they didn't have them in stock. Postage was a flat fee so I have ended up paying £14.00 quid for 4 spark plugs and one bolt. They never got in touch to say they didn't have the parts I wanted they just posted it.
Am I able to return items and get a full refund?
Many Thanks
John

Yes, I think you can, so long as you return everything within 14 days:

You may get a refund but you might have to pay and bear the cost of return postage, like I did as below.
I had an ebay transaction where the items were faulty and not fit for purpose.
I returned the items and got a full refund,BUT I had to pay return postage of £3:80.
Tried to open a claim with ebay for the return postage cost but the dispute was closed by them when I had the full refund returned to my Paypal account.
Ebay state you can recover retun postage costs if the goods are faulty or not as described, but it's difficult to find how to go about it and you have a limited time to make a claim.
Buying anything second hand off ebay is a bit of a gamble at times but you need to ask questions before buying/bidding to be certain the item is in working order.
LESSON LEARNED and £3:80 out of pocket due to a slimey seller.

If dealing eBay, often best to contact the seller and let them know they will be paying for return shipping. If it is not cheap they are likely to just refund the full transaction.

Hi its not ebay. Its a UK motorcycle dealer.

I was aware it would not be ebay, but the outcome could be the same.

Unfortunately I've been thee too :(
Ordered a bracket and reflector for an NLA Yamaha bracket plus the still listed reflector (the bracket is like rocking horse droppings and the site listed a couple as in stock) and received only the reflector plus a free plastic key fob and a large postage charge. They didn't notify me that the rare NLA part was not being supplied :(
