Dan Gecko http://www.geckomotorcycles.co.uk/ used to do shipping Japan, give him a ring (he doesn't really do email) and see if you can reserve a spot in his next box.

As for checking it is an SP the only way is to check the frame, cylinder and head numbers. And the carbs, forks, clutch and rear shock (http://www.yan.org.uk/forums/3xv-model-info.csv).  There are lots of bitzas out there. Depends on the year but I think (and could be wrong) that the chain adjusters aren't billet like on the SP and the later RS. The 91/92 SP had silver forks but so did the R (different internals). That one has lost it's indicators and rear pegs so it might have been on the track.

Best of luck getting your dream bike and welcome  :)

OK I see im learning the differences, with only 500 early SP,s then its just a replica, found a few of the RS type over in Japan also with the correct chain tensioners.

Im going to give Wallenius Wilhelmsen a shout for the shipping ive used them to ship cars and bikes from America before.

Hello guys,
Was a regular lurker and occasional poster on the old forums. Recently stumbled across the latest incarnation of the site (Hooray!).
Currently have a 3XV restoration very slowly ticking away in the shed, as well as a 2MY that I am resurrecting as a project to sell on.
Located in Melbourne, for all those Oz members.
Cheers
