Are you running avgas?
It'll be leaner.

that is the reason the sugo kit use R2/R4 neele jets

R4 are the leanest i run at altitude and that needle you're after runs in 38mm carbs
avgas uses a lot less fuel, like 450 mains leaded to 330 on avgas for example
im just hoping to help, looks like you're going lean
someone tell me im right or to shut up

okay, what i mean is the TZ 93 needle with a R2 is lean for 95
but those are massive pilots

Then just remember that pump fuel ie unleaded you tune it to black , opposite to avgas tan colour .

I will just put big jets in and drive the motor in
Then gife it to sum one to dyno end set it up properly
On my vj23 I was never able to feel even 3 jets up and 3 jets down  :-[

Put an EGT sensor and do it yourself , then you are in control of your jetting , these days there are very few bike mechanics that can jet a 2 stroke .
