As much as it would be nice to make a modern weapon out of it I would say sympathetic restoration. It looks too good to butcher.

I've heard you can fit gsx600 wheels with little hassle, the front bolts straight on, the rear requires spacers being made I believe, so may go go down that road and keep the original wheels, it's making 90 horses stock (apart from end cans)  so not bad will post the Dino up when I get a chance, it's so light compared to my rd500 feels like a 250

Front gsxf 3.00x17 by 3 and the RF 600 3.5x17 go in and retain the speedo drive Not sure about the disks as I replaced them with bigger disks and fireblade calipers (plates required)

Load of info on the RGV site. Here's a good place to start

scrap that idea that, they want £100 for two months left on my excisting policy (multi bike policy) and I cant use a new policy as I cant use my no claims bonus, so have to wait until feb to insure it on my multi bike, on a plus note ive taxed my rd500 hybrid, its the most uncomfortable thing ive ever rode but its a smoker and sounds epic.. Well went out on the RD and did wait for it, 4 miles!  ended up calling into the local bike shop and ended up chewing the shit there for two hours, then ended up my other mates shop (ktm dealer in south wales) ended up there same amount, then headed home, never mind free tea and biscuits..

bike ran like a dog, clutch slipping and miss firing, these smokers don't like to be left standing, I did see a dry clutch on a rzv 500 I can get one but £1200
