Hmmmm
If I got a 400 diesel it would be the Honda
Always fancied one and a busy mechanic once told me the motors are bullet proof.
But I don't think I'd ever go down that road. Love my 2 strokes too much

Looks tidy that! One of the 100 officially imported FZR400RRSP's went on ebay UK for 1200 quid recently though. So maybe 4500 euros is a bit dear? Saying that it did want putting back together.

Lovely bike though!

to be honest ive not ever seen a sp fzr400 in a few years, exchange rate is good atm and you could try and chip him..

4,500.00 EUR  = 3,158.82 GBP  £300 to £500 shipping

I had an '89 CBR400RR in 1990 back in ZA. It was one of the better of the diesel 400's of the day - surprisingly better than the VFR400R (NC30) and the FZR400, but didn't pull as hard as the Kwakker ZXR400.

These two stroke bikes in this condition are now increasing in value very quickly and are only going continue to do so.

I'll have two at that price !!!

2 strokes increasing in value.
anyone got a rough % figure year on year. I bought a complete 350 YPVS motor and carbs about 6 years ago for £100 and the guy threw the frame in for free think there about £600 now
I bought a 3ma about 2 months ago while I still could afford one and was curious about how much these had gone up over the last few years. seen rgv 250 are now commanding very good money.

I think the 3ma isn't going skywards atm, I wouldn't pay more than £3500 for one, and it would have to be mint for that, you can buy them for £2500 or close to that from importers, most need work though..

same for rgv I good one is worth around 3500, rs250's though are going up, probs the best bet, a nice low mileage mk2.. and the 500's now are stupid, youll pay near 10k for a average condition rg500 in stock trim, less for a modified one, unless its a nice yzr rep.. rd500 now are fetching 8k..
