I just got mine out.

I did it the same as those, I got a bolt welded to the race of the bearing. Out she came.

She was pretty darn snug in there. I find it really hard to believe that a puller with a hammer could really make it work. It's a tight fit.

Forget bread/oil stuff, since the bearing needles would create gaps and it would be far easier for oil to flow back up past the bolt than behind it.

Fooorget it.
