look very tidy mate, How did you clean them up ?

I used a short bristled brass brush to get most the crap off, then used 400 grit wet and dry to shine up a bit.  Finally cleaned with degreaser and sprayed with VHT clear lacquer which says it is good for 800 degrees....

Do you have to bake the Vht paint ?

Yes, but I used a heat gun up the exhaust for about 10 mins on each one, then will do a few heat cycles on the bike.

Yes, will be there.  Will see how the lacquer holds up to a good thrashing. :-)

Do you have to bake the Vht paint ?

VHT is the best stuff I have found for pipes and engines. I use the satin black then build up the clear depending on what finish you want
