Hello,

Quote
Hi Louis sorry to hijack your thread again
Don't worry, you give it a nice boost :)

I have at last changed the front sprocket from 16 to 17 teeth and the result wasn't quite what I was expecting. on the plus side it pulls better and for longer in each gear bar 6th and that's where the negative comes in as it wont reach full revs in 6th meaning the top speed is still about the same.
This is a part off setting up your bike, to your own feeling ;)
I have updated my site with a geardata and with three data fills for the TZR125's
http://www.tzr3ma.com/3ma-manual-s.html
Yours is the TZR125R (4DL) and you will be surprised that the stock setting for a 4DL(R) is 18/47 ;)
So in theory your 16/47 is about a dirt track setup, nice and quick shifting through the gears ^-^
(You can play with the gear setup, to see where your top speed lies)

Now it all depends on weight and length and power.

18/47 is way to long for me, perhaps a light Italian (50kg) can reach top speed and top rpm but not me with a 102KG and 2meter
17/47 I'm currently driving and gives a +150KMH (depends on wind direction, flat out on tank as good as I can)
16/47 I haven't tried

You can try differed rear sprockets, roughly 1 teeth at frond is 3 at the back
So 16/45 could be a option, but I don't know if they make them.

But if you like the acceleration and not the top speed, then 16/47 is not bad ;)

The Klass-gp challenge opens a 125 sport production competition for 2019. (three or four races)
My sons want us to go up the TZR 125 Bellegarda to participate.
I will use part of your work and develop mine because we will face the Aprilia RS and Gilera Mito. Regulation is full everywhere, including slick tire  ;)

Hello Toop,

That will be a challenge agents full tuned RS's and mito's but doable ;)
I have my road going bike still on the dyno, want to test the difference between.
A Well setup Zeel curve agents the stock CDI with 4 till 6 degrees more advange.
I'm getting the feeling that difference is very small.

Also have the last setup for the trackbike ready would be interesting to see what brings
http://www.tzr3ma.com/ngk-plug-setup.html

But the problem now is time....
I'm currently on a low profile, while I'm changing my workshop. This is a huge project as I have less space.
Need to drag everything to one corner change what I want and put every thing back.

Hope in the end I will have more space, and it will be better looking. 8) (Certainly not the case now)
Have made my first construction 10 years ago and I really needed to update it for the next 10 years ;)

Still far from ready...

A bid more here: http://www.tzr3ma.com/workshop-2.0.html

Next step will be connecting the electrical for the machines.(mill, lathe, grinder, etc)
Then my new electrical work place, for future development
etc etc.

Thanks guys ^-^

I need to make some plates with magnets to place in front off the wide openings (so that is out off site too)
Currently working on connecting everything ::)

When that is done, I'm back to my projects again ;)
