Tatty but easily restorable, as long as its complete.
It looks like you will be up for a crankshaft check/rebuild looking at the piston damage, plus a re-plate of the cylinder..........
Plus ce la change, plus ce la memchose

It does look complete and worthy for a restore, is it a real RS? That makes it a bit more special, only a 1000 of those.

2t racing in Japan is possibly reproducing them they just started recently offering R/RS crank rebuilds to bad they won't sale the seal seperately. I also found a shop called inoue boring that does plating - boring  and crank services is now reproducing nsr 250 mc21/28 con rods.

Let's see if I get a reply if it's available through them.

Tried emailing them as well to find out if they sell the seal separately, the mails just bounced. Maybe its sorted in the meantime. Let us know if you get a reply :)

BDK were selling a metal replacement centre seal a few years back. I have no knowledge about it other than that.

Yeah was afraid of that. Doesn't look like they necessarily deal with individuals from the public. Probably only want to deal with dealers in bulk..

Maybe a group buy to entice them..?
