3xv problems

hi, everyone ive recently joined . brought a 3xv ive cleaned the carbs and got her running but seems to push the water out the radiator overflow once warm, ive noticed a small drip from bolt on bottom cylinder . also the revs seem to hold once over 6k until you blip the throttle again . any ideas /help would be great . (-P)

head gasket failed or heads/barrels not torqued down properly

cheers for reply. i will have the head off and check it out , any ideas on the correct torque  .would this also cause the sticking revs ?

Check that your radiator cap is still good.

The revving could be your carbs are out of sync after you took then off and cleaned them why the revs hang.

thanks , ill swap the radiator cap of my other bike give that a try and balance carbs . cheers for that

Fix one thing at a time. If it's ingesting water messing with the carbs will make no difference

thanks everyone , managed to sort out the cooling problem and the revs sticking was down to the throttle cable routed wrong and the inlets have cracks on the carb rubbers.     thank you :)
