Replacement wheel bearings question
« on: April 14, 2018, 09:46:07 PM »
Can anyone recommend the better option for replacement wheel bearings for a 3XV1 please? Is it the preference to source genuine Yamaha bearings assuming they are still available or go for the equivalent SKF/Toyo bearing?

If the latter, can anyone recommend a source in the UK at all that they have used?
Many Thanks.
Still firing on two.

Don't get genuine for wheel bearings. They are common off the shelf types. Yamaha uses NSK and Koyo so you should be able to source the exact same ones at a fraction of the cost. If you can't get those brands then any of the other reputable bearing brands will be more than fine.
