Go on TOOP.

Looking to have a solution for TZR250 1KT and also for RZ500 as cylinders in good shape are very race !!!

You have an idea of cost per cylinder ?

Everything will depend on the size of the pool that Madame wants to build  :P

That's pretty cool, unlike an iron sleeve in a aluminum cylinder.. I take it there are fewer thermal issues with a aluminum sleeve against an iron bore than the other way round. The price is prohibitive though, for that price you can probably by a box full of spare stock cylinders.

This cost is for two refurbished cylinders and piston kits. Still pretty cool and they are the only shop I've seen doing this kind of work. Aluminum would be better than steel for heat transfer tighter clearances longer wearing. Unless you damage the bore makes the cylinder longer lasting.

Is this any different than having a set of stock 1KT cylinders Nikasil plated?  Local engine buildings will Nikasil them and match to pistons for about $200USD a side.  Doesn't remove the heat transfer of different metals but a sleeve is still a heat impediment.
