I like the rear view 8). I saw you'd relisted it, Phil.  Lots of bids on it; what happened with the original sale?

Still for sale GBP6,500 Will consider PX against an LC350 or LC2 plus cash

Yamaha TZR 250 3MA Reverse cylinder with TZ fairings in Max Biaggi YRT colours

The is the SP version. The SP has a higher spec than the 3MA1 (RWU forks) amd the 3MA3/5 (USD forks). The SP comes with

Different CDI
34mm carbs
Dry clutch
Separate 1 piece heads with flat top pistons.
Stronger swing arm with block chain adjusters
Fully adjustable forks for preload, compresion and rebound damping
Fully adjustable rear shock
4.5" rear wheel

In addition I have added 9mm reed block spaces to expose the transfer port and SP Tadao exhausts
Pipes are crisp without being too loud. The bike runs the std VAJ, but I have tweaked the jetting. Air box snorkles have been removed. The bike starts 1st kick hot or cold. You do need to keep the carbs cleaned and regular new plugs. The dry clutch rattles it's head off, and the motor bogs until it clears. It's a 3MA, they are all like that.
The extra carb heating plumbing has been removed. The airbox has been split to allow ease of access to the carbs. The bottom of the airbox is removable in a few minutes. This is a std mod to the 3MA, and simplifies the carb clean/plug change.

Brand new BT090 tyres 110/70/17 front & 150/60/18 rear (rear still has the label on it).
Frando radial from master cyclinder with braided lines and new pads. Calipers have been refurbished. I also have the original front master cylinder. Braided brake line at the back.
New chain and sprockets

The bike is fitted with a TZ fairing from the 4TW (with air scoop) and a YZR500 rear seat
Micro indicators  fitted and an LED tail tidy
I also have a main bean/dip headlamp that bolts on/off in 5 mins.

The bike has only had Castrol Racing1 fully synthetic oil and Super Unleaded fuel, in my ownership.

The paperwork

Dating letter from Yamaha
Date of Manufacture February 1990

Info from the V5
Date of Registration 01/02/1990
Date of UK Registration 19/08/2014
Former keepers 1
V5 in my name since 13/05/15

Info from MOT
30/07/2014 - 4283km
13/04/2015 - 4284 km
06/02/2019 - 4820 km approx 3,000 miles

One invoice for the work done before I took delivery April 2015; value GBP1,362.

Pics show the TZ Fairing, YZF500 seat, brand new tyres (label still on the rear), tail tidy, Frando radial brake, fully adjustable suspension, swing arm & chain adjuster, and dry clutch

And a video of it being ridden not thrashed here

Bike in South Manchester, viewings welcome. Bank transfer or Cash on collection. Can arrange delivery at cost to the buyer,  in the UK or Europe.

It's a tail tidy I had in a box. Removed the indicator stems to minimise it. The part under the mudguard is at a right angle  making it easy to bolt on. The light is an LED stop/tail from eBay for not very much.
