There is no vin plate on 3XV‘s, neither on bikes registrated in europe.
Got an austrian bike without a plate and a spare frame from croatia, also without a vin plate.

Exactly. My 91R only has the chassis number stamped on the frame headstock and the engine has even less with just 3XV stamped on it.  ::)

in Slovenian homologation wants vin plate, because they must see DGM

The TZR has “3XVxxxxxx” serial number. By 1981, all vehicles in the USA and maybe Europe had 17 character VINs.

I had a hard time getting insurance, as the insurance company software would not allow a 9-digit VIN. It took them a couple days to figure it out.
