£40000
That's the 1st time I'd seen a price. You guys on here who know your stuff should Poole your skill set and start a cottage industry. Shore you could undercut them by 20 or 30k and get a better product

We would hide the real cost and it would still be in development 20 years from now :-)

You have to admire the effort, but it's a bit, erm, aesthetically challenging, innit?  :-[  :-\

Makes those 10 grand 3XVs (almost) look like a bargain!  :o

YES.
Brief, fleeting Glory. Which of itself cannot last, but while it does is the best game of all.

Good effort I think... but this is unfortunetly a very expensive bike. Not chopping the fellas, its just how it is.
Has nice modern looks imo. bit strange, but nice nevertheless.
It has also helped me with a decision on tyre size for my trackbike 250mono... the dynamics of a 120-150 seem to promisse a very nice handling and quick turning light bike.
40Ks is about 10-11 times more then my amator garage effort for a track 250cc hybrid bike, and paper says is only around 5% heavier and also around 5% down on the power claimed by Vins...
So maybe, the talked about affortable, fun 2stroke bike for the track is already there... scattered on the ebay, you just have to pick the good stuff, build it, and hope it works ;D

Off at a tangent 110 front 150 rear is fine on a lightweight 250 - I have these on my Trackday VJ23

Phil, deciding for factory settings is always good. A bit more in detail, started a "study" on how tyre sizes front and back could influence turning and turn ease on a bike. This was inspired by a article by Mat Oxley i read some time ago. To keep it Short, and how i see it, for turning purposes, and only that, the front tyre should be widder then the back tyre, but this is not viable for obvious reasons, power goes to the back, so grip is necessary, etc etc etc.
The next best, and again only for turning ease purposes, would be the skinny the Better, and the closer possible sizes rear/front. Again, only my Humble opinion.
Not bugging this thread anymore with non relevant stuff, sorry. Just because i picked up on the tyre sizes on the Vins, that support my study or research... Right or wrong, purpose or coincidence, have No idea :-)
