MY 1986 1KT
« on: April 22, 2013, 06:50:47 PM »
I bought it in January 2004 and have over the years completely stripped, cleaned and rebuilt it when necessary along with new parts where required and powder coating of wheels, forks and various brackets.

An up to date shot of my bike with the Gold Spot caliper on it,taken today before my 240 miles round trip ride to Wales and back home to Manchester.

Very nice!
Find that the gold spot look better with that paint scheme.
Well done.

It was to stop stones breaking the headlight, and at the time i heard it could deflect signals from mobile hand operated speed cameras so the police could not get an accurate reading.I have since taken it off as it appears to be untrue.

Yes,the seat cowl is genuine yamaha which I was given (in a plastic bag with fitting instructions) when I bought the bike in 2004 from a bike Importers in Darwen, Lancashire.
