How many litres of 710 do I need for 1000 miles of "spirited" riding?

I figure a full tank plus two litres should be plenty.  I seem to remember bringing three litres last year, and having one to spare.

Recommended tire pressure?

1000 Miles @ ~ 25mpg ave = 40 imp gallons or 320 pints

premix @ 32:1 = 10 pints.

autolube probably half that

you can see I'm bored at work..................... :D

Recommended tyre pressures for high speed road stuff are 2.00 bar front and 2.50 bar rear. Which equates to around 30 PSi front and 36 PSi rear. Personally I tend to run about 32/34 myself though.

If your pump's set correctly I reckon a full tank plus one litre will be enough oil. Perhaps better to be safe than sorry there though, so if you can take a little more fairly easily it might be wise. I'd imagine most fuel stations don't stock good 2 stroke oil over there?

Enjoy the run
