You need something to hold the flywheel while you loosen the 17mm nut. Ideally a flywheel holding tool, but you might do it by locking the motor in gear and/or having an assistant stand on the rear brake. Then you'll need a flywheel puller like this: Flywheel puller to get the flywheel off the tapered end of the crank. Easy job with teh right tools. A real pain without.

Cheers

Yamaha pullers use a 27mm Left hand thread.

Looks like my link doesn't work. As Jools says though any puller listed for a 250/350 yam 2 stroke should fit - RD350, Banshee Quad etc. It's unlikely you'll find one listed specifically for the 3XV of course.

Cheers

The oem Ymaha part will cost you an arm and a leg, Yuri. The generic type are much cheaper and will do the job just as well.

Make sure you keep a close eye on jetting, Yuri. You need to be careful not to run too borderline on the main jet if you are running a sugo ignition or you will quickly start eating pistons. A size or so on the safe side of optimum is probably the best idea.

Enjoy.

As Jools has noted as long as it's a 27 x 1mm left hand thread type it'll do the job. AFAIK all Yam's use the same type. Certainly mine fits all the Yams It's been near in any case - all strokers of course. As long as it fits an RD350 or UK 2MA TZR (which should be easy to check with the vendor) it'll work on the 3MA.

Cheers
