Hello Jools, feeling lonely ?
I'm not hibernating, just busy doing jobs around the house that's been put off since the summer !!  ???
I'll be starting my ( slow ) engine rebuild when I get back to work in January.  :D

Skinuthbilly, did you get your barrels ported to SP spec by Martin77 as planned ? Did you also get a set of his expansion chambers ? Have you done any other maintenance work to your bike or found any potential problems ?
                   Regards, Wullie.  :D

I keep avoiding those sort of jobs - I'm far too busy with 6 bkes now in the garage...........

Took delivery of a brace of LC 250 & 350 race bikes plus tons of spares for the bargain price of not a lot!!
The 250 has a recon motor so with a touch of paint and a good clean up I should get at least that for it alone.

Happy xmas

Skinuthbilly (Ian) has my halfway tune and a set of Nikons....soon to be the full SP porting (and possibly my pipes aswell?....I can't remember the plan Ian, my memory's terrible)

I prefer to hybernate during the summer when it's warmer..

Good to here you found no problems, Ian.  :D   Hope you get a dry, sunny day over the hols for your planned blast on your 3XV.
Do you have a favourite route around the fens ? , or is it confidential information ?    :;):

Sorry Ian, I thought the Fens went that far North !    Having spent two months of my time in the R.A.F at Waddington, South of Lincoln, (summer '87), & riding up to Cadwell a couple of times to race meets on my bike, I remember the countryside being fairly flat compared to my home county. Thats what made me think it was still the Fens ! Must brush up on my geography sometime !  :D

Flash back.........skeggy, Ingoldmells, smelly dykes early 60's as a kid, Butlitz, brown cold sea, expansive sands - you needed a bus to get to the water.
My dads Panther 120 outfit sat outside the caravan in the rain.....never got sunburnt mind !

them were the days
