It's been posted many times. Do a quick search and you should find the volume and air gap info.

Cheers

I actually do the serch... I search for "fork oil", "fork", "oil" and it didn't respond with anything useful.

I browse through 10 pages of history but didn't find it.  Maybe I sux at searching... or I did something wrong when I put in the parameters for the search.  Any suggestions?

Have a look here I did mine last week changed the seals and the oil I used 15w oil because I like the front a bit stiffer but may go up to 20w

R forks - 357cc of oil - 116mm air gap with forks collapsed and springs out

SP forks - 393 ccs - 135mm air gap (set as above)

20 weight might be a bit heavy, Glyn? The oem stuff is 'Yamaha Suspension Fluid 01', which I'm told is closer to 5wt? I'm currently using 7.5wt in the track bike, which works pretty well with my 12 stone carcass on board. I guess you can only really go by feel though - and whatever feels good to you is the 'right' grade to use.

Cheers
