Don't worry about it, as noted above I'll probably be joining you after lunch in any case
The thing to do is just take things at your own pace and relax. the more comfortable you get, the quicker you'll get. And there are no prizes for being quickest. It's all about the learning. And the good old fashioned fun that can be had on your bike when you don't have to think about pedestrians, the police, badgers, telegraph poles, skips etc. And you can always do your own MotoGP commentary in yer lid of course
The great thing about trackdays is that you can really work on your riding because you are riding the same piece of (good) tarmac over and over, so you can experiment with different lines, braking etc. While you can't really directly apply all of the stuff you learn on the track to road riding, it does an awful lot for your confidence to know what the bike is capable of. And a reasonably well set up 3XV is capable of a hell of a lot more than you'd think. Even stock, as Eddie pointed out in the 'Newbie' thread.
If you can swing the time off, you really should come along. A nice day on the track is absolutely life-affirming .
