I refer the honourable gentleman to recent discusions in the For Sale section... :D

There's been a lot of 'polishers' jumping aboard the 250 stroker ship recently. Some owners are exploiting this by flicking a bit of wax on 'em and asking ludicrous prices. Makes me feel a bit ill if I'm honest as I tend to think these bikes should be ridden. And ridden hard rather than hoarded in heated garges as some weird kind of way of reliving your youth by gawping at 'em when you are too old/fat/slow to actually ride the bloody things  anymore ???. But maybe the fact that I ride mine most days means I'm the weird one. Who knows... I just find it all a bit sad really. Matey's put it up for quite a while, so he might even get the four grand he's asking? But bloody hell, 4 grand for an R model 3XV? Jeeees...   :(

Joking aside your bang on there Warick, bikes should be ridden and not just looked at.

Got a mail order catalog send to me the other day some nice bit's in there but way to much bling.

If you spend 8k on bling don't mean your bike is now worth 8k more.

It's like my KTM's for the money I put into them I'll never get it back but It don't bother me because I loved doing it.

Rant over :p
