I got a semi complete version.  I need to change the tube to stainless steel make a few small tweeks and they are done.

I also found a supplier and cnc company that can do it cheaper.  They should retail as a kit for about 85-95USD each. (depends how bad  can beat the new suplier on price.)  they will be high polished or silver anodized.

These have multiple holes in the chamber side cap to fit the 3XV confguration and also other more popular brands of after market chambers

Counter-sunk tapered machine scrwes will fill the unused holes

Opps forgot to mention there are many holes the end caps.  for no other reason than to be able to line up the exhaust and render the spout in teh correct direction no matter what set of moutning holes you use

Are the cans going to have a steel ( polished alloy / stainless ) band around each end ??
Many other cans do ?
Just wondered if they fitted them for a reason ( ie .. carbon fracturing round screws / fixing holes ) ..

I think the band is to give a more secure seal around the carbon. The method without the band only gives a localised purchase for the screw or the rivet. My banded ones have not come loose after 3 years

Hmmm.......I looked at the comments and thanks This is great feed back.

I think the band (If a seperate piece) looks a bit cheasy.  Even thought it servse its purpose.

My intention is to make the band intragal with the end cap if possible. If not I will go with the band but only as a last resort.

In other words the tube will fit into a grove in the cap and then be bolted in.  My tubes are quit consitant so I think this is a real possible fix to your concerns.

Also they are 100% Carbon Fiber and a tad thicker than the norm for strength and durability.

I plan to market these to racers so durability is my main thought second is weight.  Though as a racer its of course always in the back of my mind.

Also I will add a round cap on the end of the spout as a lot of clubs require it on exhausts for safety reasons.

Any more comments about this idea please make them good or bad, I listen.

Steve
