Warwick

did you say the power valve cables were easily obtainable over there ?

I've got a worked 93 SP top end with TZ heads I want to try out. I need some cables and stuff for the 4 cable servo setup.

Can you price up the following for me for the SP:

Upper Cable #1 3XV-1133E-10
Upper Cable #2 3XV-1133F-10
Lower Cable #3 3XV-1133G-10
Lower Cable #4 3XV-1133H-10
Lower Pulley Cover 3XV-1118A-10
Lower Cable Bracket 3XV-11999-00

having problems locating here

regards

Jools

they are all from the SP parts book.

And they will all be ex-Japan if still available.

you'd imagine the dealers should have access to the same info which ever country
sometimes theres a superceeded number and the original isnt recognised or whatever but the dealer should be able to work something out-the guy i spoke to did f all to dig something up,
when i worked in car parts i never got away with saying something like sorry i know nothing

give them a chassis number and tell them which cables and to give you a call when they come in     :D  :D
anyway good luck!

Did you get the RS cycles, link, Jools? http://www.rscycles.com/Storefront/Search.aspx Put the part No in the query box on the left.
They list the 4 cables (two of which are pretty salty ???), but not the bracket and cover. Try the Webbs Yamaha contact for them. If he can get them, then it would prob be cheapest and quickest to get him to send them direct to you, but if there's a problem doing that I could maybe get them and send them on - definitely take longer tho...
