For PV use programmer OR cable adjusters. The curve I loaded is for STD engine, 105 pipe mod and gave 63HP!!

Hi Paul;

I know, I just want to test all the options available and play with my new toy :D . See what is out there 8-) I am the kid taking the toy apart instead of playing with it.

I see no one wants to answer my questions is it winter in europe are every one hybernating over there? Have the economic crisis put a hold on all 3ma development? Looks like every one is taking a July siesta :D wakawaka

Anyhow I am planning on doing your setup on saturday and see what happens with the bike like I said It is not reving the same max rpm as with the 00 cdi. But I will calibrate pv as you said that will probably solve my problem. Thanks for the heads up. I am reading the 3xv posts to understand how the ignitions work just hope it doesnt confuse me.

With the programmer you get 2 options.
First is IGN and all the other items. In there is TPS but to be honest I would leave it out for now as you have FAJs. TPS is nice for the TCT function and that is the only reason I have it on. But in yours TPS is off for now. It is also easier to adjust your advance curve with it off. Else you have to change 3 sets of values (33,66&100%)
Second is PV. In there you will see the PV curve and a calibration function. I would use this to check fully open and by using + & - you can set it so the slot and hole match and then set the closed position.

Hi Paul;

Excellent I am leaving the tps for now and maybe much later. I have completed carbs as per your setup barring one thing I installed q2 needle jets. Ok so the tct function is? Will be doing some programming today on the zeel will keep you posted. I assume the advance you have set is the correct one or do I need to look into that.

It was plug and play for your FAJ setup. Only thing I couldn't factor is your PV adjustment. Have you checked it now? Was it this limiting the bike?

8-)

what is the difference between the 00 and o1 cdi

After my small holiday ;) , I have sorted the jetting off my Marlboro bike.
Because of not having a airjet screw it was a bid off more work to find a good combination.
But have found it ''160 pilot air jet with a 17,5 pilot jet'' is the correct settings for my bike.

Will book a dyno and see what the differends are.
From what i have read the pv cycles will be different between the 00 and 01 cdi
Ignition is not sure, hope to see some differences on the dyno
