Fibreglass fairing for the 3xv (standard style)

Fibreglass fairing for the 3xv (standard style)

Postby maccas » Sun Jul 08, 2012 1:17 pm

Hi guys,

After enjoying cadwell so much the other week I am on the look out for a set of track fairing for my 3xv.

Are there any suppliers in the UK of the standard style 3xv fibreglass fairing or is it all Japan only stuff?

I liked the look of Daz's rear seat unit on his 3xv!

Any help appreciated!

Cheers,

Dan

Hi Neal,

That could be an option I will bear it in mind cheers!

Gary,

Cheers for that but i don't really want genuine panels, I'd like fibreglass really.

Cheers,

Dan

Hi Neal!

That would be great if you could!

Does he do 3xv fairings or is it just the TZ type? I'm after specific 3xv types you see.

Cheers,

Dan

i got my race 3XV fairing from ardracing.com,pretty good quality IMHO,and the sides and v-piece are all in one, which make it a lot easier to remove!! i don't think they list it on their website though, but if you do ring them, just tell them it's for the 3XV,i had no probs at all with them........ :)
think the price is same as the 1kt/2ma ;)

Hi Ian,

I will contact them and see what they say!

Did you get a seat unit from them too?

How did you get on at Cadwell? Sorry I didnt get chance to come and say hello!

Cheers,

ARD list it as the 125R stuff, but in race type it's the same as 3XV stuff as the light holes are blocked of course (125 has bigger lights). Daz's seat unit is from Japan so they are quite expensive to buy and get over here I think? There's a TZ 'Aprilia style' seat that's very similar though and could probs be made to fit relatively easily?

Warwick is correct on this,it is indeed listed as the 125r(italian import?) but the race fairing does have '3xv' stamped into the front of the v-piece.
mine came in a nice glossy white,no need to paint, just slap the stickers on!! :D

Good stuff! I think their prices are very reasonable indeed!

Once i've gathered some money together I will purchase a set and get some stickers :P
