Just test fitted the first pre-production alloy tank.
The fit is not perfect but is close enough for my race bike.
They didn't have a bike to try it on so I reckon they did a pretty good job for first attempt.

This was the very first one to try for fit.
Not sure what he will charge after the first batch.
I had some extra costs due to shipping original tank over.
Shipping the alloy was quite reasonable (but it only weighs about 3kg.)

That looks very nice and its good to know there are people out there who can do this. Looking at their site I doubt its going to be cheap, but petrol tanks never are and compared to not having one it might be worth it.
Would almost be a crime to paint it!
