'Stickied' it for you, Phil :).
Hi phil , just been added thanks , is this limited to 250s or could i bring my 125R /170 TZR . Atb...
There are no restrictions only your ability and ambition:-)
Are there separate groups or all the strokers in one group together?
All I do is suggest a date. It would be great to have a 2 stroke group but we don't. I also suggest a group but the TD organisers don't like novices and race ability TZ riders in the same group. It's down to common sense. Go in the lower group and ride like you are club racer and you will piss everyone off. If you are that good go racing or in the fast group.
Bottom line is bring your 2 stroke to the track day and ride quick but courteously. Lets put it this way, if you dive up the inside and stand me up and make it stick
1 - you're quick
2 - we will be having words
Sweet.. Thats the worry of too many mixed riders in one group. I dont get to do many trackdays so usually choose the inters group and if I think I need to swap I would ask anyway to not cause havoc in that group... haha. The problem is some of the guys I know talk up a good lap but when you are there.... Erm... Its quite different.. I think the TZR and NSR would be fine in the inters but the RG is too road biased so it would be a bit out of its depth in there too but one session on the RG would be fun... Slow but fun even if I got passed by everything..
Here's the TZR at Oulton Park in the novice group. You just have to take it easy :-)

Now you see from about 4 minutes to 6 minutes it would be doing my head in... Some know what an apex is and know its in there somewhere... Some couldn't find it if they had sat nav telling them where it was.. Others know where it is but are just slow.. Its wall to wall bikes.. You look quick enough to move up passing R1's etc. It sort of looks slighty dangerous when there are guys on the R6 who just end up jumping kerbs and are not actually very fast so could have actually pulled up and made it...
Oulton would be a learner track for me but I would still go in the inters as it would be a couple of sessions to get an idea of the track and how it flows then in the afternoon just get my pace up a bit more.. Cadwell and Mallory are fine.. lol.. Donnington would need a bit of a refresh.. So inters is the safest group on the 250 for me I think. I have no issues around the 1m mark at Mallory on my R1 road bike on road tyres and no warmers. I hold back on that as it was my only road bike so just kept it at 90-95% ish. Same at Cadwell with 1m 51's on it too.. I had to ride it there and home so no point risking it.. So add 2 or 3 seconds on the 250 at Mallory and 5 or 6 at cadwell for a reasonable but safe pace..
Oulton Park - April 24th
No Limits have released a few more dates. I have booked into the Lower group

Book into the group appropriate for yourself. Personally I go in the Lower group, it's a track day not a race :-)
To book the 2T Big Bang you need to ring No Limits. It's a closed event (at the moment) and not available to book online. Tell them you are riding a 2 Stroke
I have extended the 2T Big Bang to 4 events this year
Have a look at the FB group for details on
Oulton Park
Donington Park
Blyton Park

That long grass/corn looks a bit inviting for my talent
Last update before Thursday
The circuit opens at about 7:00am. There is usually a gold rush for the garages. Please head towards garage 3, 4, 5 & 6 which is at the far end of the pit lane. We have garage 1 & 2 reserved so fill these 2 last. If we need to, use 7&8 as we can always spread into 1&2. Get all your bikes in the garages first so we can assess what space we all need :-)
