Hi Chaps,
its a quite difficult to registrate one of our glory bikes in Germany/within EU.
However this bike landed, sometimes in Greece. No papers anymore. Not stolen (of course) and not missed. Contract available of course.
Now for full new registration and paper release a CoC will be very helpful, but dont know if such thin existing for old 10 digit VIN.
Did anybody of you have an CoC for a 3XV Model ?
plz contact me.
Thanks in advance
There is no CoC for the 3XV. If you want to register it in Germany, forget it.

nevertheless you can stick to your opinion.
OK CoC documents were raised in a later period, short after introduction of 3xv.
BUT, i don't forget it will register this bike in Germany for sure.
Its always a story of time, passion, network and money.
Done more difficult re-registration for old cars/bikes than this 3xv.
the scene is bigger than some (now!) old chaps trying to raise the prices artificial
But thanks anyway
Hey there :) in Germany there are ways of registering the bike. Around the Westerwald Area a Yamaha dealer (Hans Becker, now https://www.imt-fairings.com/ueber-uns in the web, maybe contact them for more info) imported a few (30ish 3XVs) and registered them with a "Einzelabnahme". The TÜV does have some data on these bikes, so they can be registered because of Hans Becker (but you need special silencers with catalytic converters due to emission laws).
I am currently going the same path, but you cannot get CoC papers. If you know someone who already registered one in Germany, you can take the copy of the "Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil 2" to the TÜV. It is possible, not too easy but possible ;)
thanks all and good luck
