What did webbs sting you for your crank Ron? Did you get it?

Less than the item on eBay with the forum discount,  not sure exactly as it was bundled with some other spares I wanted. Its currently in the postal system, better enlarge the letter box. ;)

jesus its looking bad on ebay i dont think i can afford to keep my tzr anymore they have become to much of a collector bike. The asking prices on parts have gotten ridiculous im totally priced out of the market. if i keep the bike i will ride it until every part is completely worn out and  it seems a shame to do that as it is a complete 4dl1 1991 first year of production. i dont like ebay for sales i cannot deal with all the questions about how much would you take for it and and some nonsense about shipping containers???
I watched a old tatty RR not even running condition sell on there for £3.500 not so long back so im asking somewhere in that ball park if anyone's interested i can put a advert up. it needs a good home

Just noticed this: https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g495952000 - a rather cruddy old Formula 3 kitted 1KT.

Interestingly, the owner has done quite a bit of work to reinforce the frame and it also has separate cylinder heads. It supposedly has at least the basic F3 kit fitted, as well as TZ forks.

It looks like it needs a bit of work. Price is at 250,000 Yen with one day left.

Regards,
James

When you really need the world to know you're sporting Ohlins..

Exhibitionist Ohlins bike has spilt its guts. Not sure about that price...

Weird was just looking at that, yeah heavy wonga.I just scored x2 side panels, a seat unit and a nose cone for my 94RS for £460 some minor damage but otherwise not bad, first ive seen since you put me onto those mint panels last time, getting a nice stash together now. Maybe in the pandemic whole bikes arent selling so their getting parted out?

ybk

^^ Nice, those panels and nose cone were still in good nick, reckon you got them for a good price as well. Run them and store the mint ones.. I've got a box full of fairings taking up space, awkward to store those things!

Know what you mean, all in the loft! Your right about running the worst and storing the best, makes sense.
What is weird is that all the big parcels arrived from Japan inside a week, not a single customs charge??

One for our local RS aficionado, Mr bulldogboy, a nice one coming up for sale in Japan next week, frame number 097232:

And for interest's sake, a SPR sold recently for an arm and a leg, around 1 200 000yen I think:

Nice!  O0 whats the price? Not that i want a 3rd,! I see the vin also falls within the 500 range, surely they only made 500 of these?
Since ive had mine ive seen prob only 4/5 others come up for sale.
