I just received a set of SP pistons exactly like that 2 weeks ago....paid $117 each....said it was the last two they had.
The only piece of the puzzle I do not have for my 3XV2 rebuild is the center crank bearing.....which I found, just haven't bought it yet.
Should have done it a year ago....glad I didn't wait too long for rebuild parts.

I ordered x2 standard pistons from webbs, only 1 turned up, it was the last one in Europe, i found x2 at R.S cycles in the U.S, they sent me one to make the pair, so theres one still in stock last time i checked, if id known they sell for £500 id have bought it! Also got another S.P crank, how much longer will they be around?

It has been rumored that Yamaha still produces a few SP cranks because of demand, Gavin. Even if that's not true, rebuilding a SP crank would be a good way to keep your 3xv running.

The crank is a bit expensive compared to Webb's or CMS. But, the pistons are a bargain. Of course, shipping from Japan is not cheap nor efficient.

Good info Steve,  TKRJ were rumoured to be doing 3XV piston kits, although a quick scan of their website still only shows 3ma kits.

Yeah all dressed up that one, a very nice SP bodywork set on it though..that screen is really horrible though.

Daily crazy price, how about 3MA SP carbs that just sold for 200000yen..

Yeah, they dont claim its an SP ,but someone unclued could get caught out thinking they had an underpriced result !

The guy gets some interesting bikes at that place I looked at an SDR 200 he had a while back. In fact he had two for sale at the time
