I can't get over the crap build quality of the RGV, what a pile of rubbish.
Australia Post will only let you send objects under 1100mm long and under 20kgs Paul so I will just have to keep it

My RGV is getting the door to accomodate it and as it has the kiss of death on it anyway I will be glad to see it gone.

you bought a TZ and a TZR race bike to see which was better, just post me your TZ when you're done.

What are you saying Paul, when he is done the TZR will be the better one?? ;)

Getting some fairings as a bonus as well so now I have a complete bike. Mind you I presume they will be street fairings so I may have to sell them anyway.

Neal

Hi Pat , I will be looking for track fairings mid year if you know anyone down under or would I have to import some ?

There is a company just a few streets away from me Neal that do fibre glass fairings. I asked them about a set for the 3MA but they only had the mould for one model TZR and I cant remember which one but I have a feeling it was the 3XV, the details are below.
I plan on fitting a spare set of 4DP ones to my bike anyway providing they line up.

Pat,

I think you are correct - my first TZR came with one from those guys and I'm sure it was 3XV.

TZ127 told me he had some moulds when he popped over the pit garage on Friday. Just so busy I never had time to go back over to see him.......
Plus ce la change, plus ce la memchose

My bike lands on Friday so customs might release it by the following Friday and I will see what arrives. I will pop over to see those guys in the next few days and confirm the fairing situation.

I finally picked the bike up this morning just have to go back for the fairings etc. This bike is an SPR and has the oval carbs still fitted. I haven't had a chance to go through it fully yet and note what parts it has but here are a few pictures.
First job is to strip the forks and get the legs re chromed, they are not too bad but still no good. Then strip the motor and crank and see if its usable.
It also gave me a chance to use my new trailer that I only finished building yesterday, I still need to set it up but I'm happy for now.

There is a scrutineering sticker on the frame saying SSC Sugo Sports Club technical inspection  8).

Jakes

Looks like it has sugo pipes as well, probably sugo everything! Easiest way to get everything in one go and lots of spares!

So jealous! :P

Neal

Looking forward to see the progress on this bike  8)

I wonder why the sticker is written in English and not Japanese.
3XV-7K cdi
107233 chassis no
3XV 75 loom
3XV-50 barrels
I think someone made off with the forks from the bike because looking at the fork legs this bike has been sitting for a while but the tyres are not even blue, they look like 2-3 months since last used and the overall condition is not that of the fork legs. Anyway it doesn't matter I am off tomorrow to pick up the rest of the parts.

Neal

Can you blow up that green sticker ? Any chance somebody can make a replica ?

Actually it says Sugo Sports Club, I edited the earlier post and the pink sticker is one as well. I can get them scanned off the frame locally which is what I was planning.
