I suspect that after finding out an engine would cost £4k (if he could find one) and then factor in all the carbs, pipes, ECU etc it would cost more than the price of a second hand sorted 4dp (£16k). I'm no expert but finishing that for £10k is a big ask. I know for sure from trying to get bits for my 3XV it would be a World of pain.

I was considering buying it and using it for my 3XV project, then selling on what was left over. But £6k is too much for what it is. I'd say it's £4k at the most. Then I'd be interested

It's got a Hi Sport rear that dates from the late nineties I think  It looks like most bits are there..the rust will be a battle though

The auction says "Yamaha TZR 125 4HW 4HX Front forks VGC freshly painted (can fit TZR 250 3XV)"
Not sure if that's accurate or some mods required to fit these to a 3XV though?
