1st Post! Ring end gap measurement.

Hi Guys, My name is Greg from New Zealand, recently I purchased a NZ new 3ma (20,000kms), in need of some TLC but otherwise complete - the bike that is!
I have been looking around in this forum and I gotta say it is just fantastic! I have learnt so many things about my 3ma, in particular the airjets, so much so she no longer has the dreaded midrange flat spot.
I have manage to get hold of some genuine Yamaha pistons, rings and gaskets and plan to replace the top end in the coming weeks.
I do have a couple of questions that I am stuck on and need a little help, does anyone know the correct ring end cap for the 3m1 (01)?
Also the torque settings for the head and should I use a gasket cement on the genuine head gasket I am going to use?

The workshop manual there has all the torque values in the diagrams. Ring gap measurement as well which should be between 0.3 and 0.45 with a limit of 0.8

Thanks YBK and mellorp for the warm welcome and info , I had seen the workshop manual but as it was in Japaneses I dismissed as unreadable and did'nt want to get any measurements wrong!  But again thanks very much! Looking forward to the rebuild!
