Ups, I did it again... :-)
Some may remember my 4FL project, it took some time and effort to bring her back to life.
Recently a forum member from here infected me with the idea to ride a 3MA... So I got a bike in pieces, knowing that it will take some polishing and some sorting to get her back to life. The plan is to build up a kind of a race replica what former german GP rider Martin Wimmer rode in the '88 championchip. I got a SP engine and will see how far I will get in case of power..

Great stuff! Good luck, Jeurgen!  (-P)

So I started to measure the details out of the engine, I found a 1 piece head gasket on that engine (0,25 mm thick). Can someone tell me how thick a stock 3MA3 head gasket is?
cheers

What are the cylinder marking? 3MA-10?
4 Strokes are full of parts - 2 strokes are full of speed...

41juergen

yes, but there should be no difference to the other cylinders, correct?

Need4speed

exept 3MA-4 - all are the same.

just 2 questions:
- is that the correct way for the sealing on the ignition side?
- what is the static angle for a 3MA3 zeeltronic setup?
cheers

There is a recent post I did about static angle and some members helped me. Look in 3MA section. I have the Zeel and had to adjust the compensation.
