My fairing does not fit ??? Lower fairings either foul on exhausts or front tyre ?? I'm suspecting a bent frame /head stock ?? Any advise is much appreciated thankyou

We need more info on your bike and type of fairing.

Model and year of bike? History of ownership.

The big question: Is the fairing OE or aftermarket?

Did the fairing ever fit properly?

Has the bike been crashed?

I have an aftermarket fairing on my 3xv. It took careful mounting to keep the pipes and front tire from fouling on the fairing surface.

Brief, fleeting Glory. Which of itself cannot last, but while it does is the best game of all.

Easy way to work out if the frame is bent is this:

1. Slacken the rear wheel spindle and push the rear wheel as close to the engine as possible.
2. Get someone to stand the bike upright
3. Use string and weight / plum line to mark on the floor the centre of the front and rear wheel spindle
4. Measure between the marks on the floor
5. Compare that wheelbase with the wheelbase from the manual (in resources)

If the measurement is >15 mm or so out it's likely you have a bent frame and worth having it checked before you go further

Might be worth checking the steel fairing cradle/clock mount is straight as that can have an impact on the fit of the top fairing and then rest of the panels.
