Fitting a IGNITECH to a 3XV

Yes, Paul

I used first the wiring diagram. Then the damn thing would not start. The i got the English Wiring plan of a 3XVR from 92 and there , dc-cdi-p2 manual. Changed the wiring and checked against your diagram with the manual of the dc-cdi-p2 race unit.
Now the bike is starting. So i guess that means the wiring plan that i posted is correct !

I would say that it is quite possible ! I can see your Photos now !
Just check it against the PDF i posted. The red numbers are the numbers on the connector that goes in the ignitech. The top is the small connector from the cdi, looking at the pins.
Lower one is the big connector from cdi , looking at the pins.
Yah , and the colors are the cable colors of the cdi connector cables.

But maybe you connect it up and see if the bike starts or the PV`s work when you turn the key.

thanks i will try that and post what i find ! but barrels arn't on the bike at the moment as
i took them off to get some work done which ive had to posepone because of Christmas
ive got someone who is pretty clued up on these things so i should get there with it !

I have revised the ignitech connection Plan. Oil Solid has to go also on 16 !
