2ma versus 3ma knuckle guards

Looking at some knuckle guards for my 2ma and see some available on eBay for the 3ma.  They look very similar and wondering if anyone knows if the parts are interchangeable?

in my experience, despite looking similar they are not interchangeable.

Tom is correct.

When I bought my 1KT(same as 2MA) from an importer in 2004,I was given the knuckle guards and mirrors and seat cowl separately as they were taken off for shipping from Japan.
When I came to put the knuckle guards on about a week later,they did not fit due to the importer giving me 3ma ones.
I took them back and was given the correct ones.
