2MA 1KT mirror mounting?

Can anyone confirm if the 2MA/1KT mirror mounts are 40mm centre to centre?

Just measured mine and they are 40mm centre to centre on the mirror bolts.

No, 3XV and 3MA are both, erm... *roughly measures one*... around 47mm Tom.

Are they rare or something, Tom? I'd always assumed they were 3XV ones myself (I've had them in the loft for years), and was saving them for when I turned into an old concours fart... . But when I had a proper look at them I noticed a 1KT tag stuck on one of 'em, so they are no good to me. 

I wrote my car off on Friday, so a few bob would be very useful just now. Just listing the cats as we speak...  .

Yep fairly rare, especially in the condition yours are in. every set i've seen (secondhand) have always been scraped. Just a shame they aren't red or i'd be having a bid.

If got an FZR400R white mirror pair in the garage so I can measure them too.
This could be easier to find.
Get them from the bay in the UK.

3XV uses the 3TJ model FZR mirrors. I think those are what you have pictured Olivier?

PS. are you the Olivier that emailed me about a 3MA tank? Lost the message, but I don't have a spare if it was you?
