O RINGS

Hi

Can anyone suggest/or give me a direct replacement for the orings in the inlet fuel cage in the carb bowl?Mine have disintegrated.

i would take both parts down to a supplier and check fit, make sure they are fuel proof

You are refering to the rubber seal on the needle and seat unit? If it is the case from my experience I will get new needle and seat unit complete from Yamaha. With replacement stuff I was not able to set the float height it kept changing.

Edd thanks.Expensive though.If i remember right you get the plastic cage with o ring thats all from yam dosnt come with a needle set.So for an o ring expensive.

Didnt know if anyone else came across the situation and found a cheaper alternative.Dont need the seat just o ring.

The kit from Yamaha has everything in it. Go on the old forum and search there, I know there is a vitolic o'ring you can use as a replacement unfortunately I dont remember and havent written down the size.

You can get the O-ring separate from Allens Performance in the UK. Not sure of the part number or anything, but ring them up and have a chat with them about it.
