Is that the price you paid? thats £4233 ! thats an amazing price youd struggle to get a decent "R" for that, looks nice and original just a heads up theres SPR side panels and nosecone from a seller in Australia on Ebay at the moment , good luck with the project.

That SP looks very nice, only 4000km. Been stood for most of it's life, looks like it still has the original factory tyres on..

That is lovely original condition, ive never considered importing a bike from japan, i always imagine it to be hellishly expensive and complicated, but when you see bikes like that its very tempting! Was it stupid expensive through miyabee Busa if you don't mind me asking?

You definitely need to find a bike at a good price to make it worth while.
She charges 10% of bikes value to purchase
Need to pay for bike to get shipped to her
Boxing bike up, and shipping to me (Chicago port of entry)
All paperwork up to picking bike up
Plus broker fees...
It was over $2000-$2300 cost range.....I don't keep track as I know it's throwing money away.

But if you can get a beautiful rare bike....one that has not been butchered up (good parts swapped out) ...
Sometimes it is the only option.
A clean original is way easier to afford to get up and running than a project bike in the long run.

I paid $5000 for my 3XV2.....complete, but tired

Thats pretty good going, even with the fees, all in thats $7300, which is £5372, another say £3000 getting it right, is £8372 for an S.P, sounds good to me! Theres one on at fastline at the moment for £15,000, but even at 12gs your still in nice profit, as you say, the key is in the purchase price.

I think fastline paid £9.5K for that SP
It was on eBay for half a day tops, only needed one side fairing painting.
