Hi guys,

Just registered on the forum, so "Hi" to everyone :)
I'm a French TZR enthusiast, quite new on the 2-strokes scene.
I just bought a 125, in great conditions but I wish I could find new fairings for it (gonna post pictures soon).
I browsed the internet quite for a while looking for a new set of fairings but with no success.
I got 2 questions for you;
1st- do you know a place/website where I can find some? (replicas will do too)
2nd- would 250 fairings fit well on a 125? (in case I can't find 125 fairings)

Thanks a lot in advance!

ive got all 3xv except front mud guard and v piece ,needs painting !
1 crack mending ,and a tiny piece making and thats it
a good start if you need some all genuine yamaha

Crank

I bought a set of 125 fairings by mistake, they look the same but definitely don't fit the 3XV.

Thanks everyone for helping me out with this.
I'm gonna check the links.

i know the V piece is the same (it checked out when i was looking for one), i assumed the sides had to be the same to.
if scott says they dont fit then he is correct, i was only going on advice from a breaker.

is that your bike in the pics?

Thank you Paul. Then I'll turn to another option.
i have in mind to turn it into a trackie; the engine will need adjustments but i'll stick to the original looking.
Yes Paul this one is mine.
Cheers

Paul

very tidy
i would love the simplicity of a single cylinder, half the price and half the work to de-restrict.
but am adicted to twins, i must suffer the price :'(

Hahaha, I'd love to suffer the price too but a single cylinder is a good start I think.
you're absolutely right about the cost of de-restriction, but acquisition was quite cheap too!
Gonna post pictures of the engine asap
Hoping you'll be interested in my topic :)

the part no's all seem the same as 3xv !
one starts 3xv the other 4fl then the main no's are the same then its just the sub no . must be paint colour or decals
as the side panels come as a kit with everything ,including decals bolts and stuff

They where slightly smaller than my cracked 3xv fairings  and the mounting points don't line up.
With some creative bracketing I suppose they can be made to fit!

Look again, Crank ;)... Or were they not 4FL plastics? 4DL maybe?

4FL and 3XV plastics are effectively interchangeable from what I've seen. There are differences in the apertures for the bigger head and tail lights in some markets - and the vents in the V piece differ but the overall mouldings are the same and the mountings should all line up?
