i bought some of these for the 3xv
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390498362509?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
and could with some sort of idea how others bikes run who are using pod filters ?
ment to be better than k#n's as there is no metal cap end that can cause problems ! that have been mention'd before
any one using them then or has experience with them ?

i would not bother with them you will just get more noise no real performance gain plus they will need to be set up properly

jt3xv

i just got sum as want to run with martin 77 ported barrels n heads n dfr exhausts, seen them on old forum, carnt remember who posted it ,but they had used em on there 3xv with no probs?

Could have been me.
Works brilliantly on 3xv and Mc21. Did not work on Aprilia RS.
My 3xv has sugo carbs and a worked engine plus pipes to suit. It wouldn't run with unrestricted SP boxes and booties.
the twins:-
TZR250 3xv
TZ250 4DP2

Hey guys,

i have someone who can make pod filters any size and length for R225.00 each.
Let me know if anyone is interested and the size required.
Thanks

Ha, ha... the neverending box/pods discussion :)
I once was told while consulting with someone (I do that a lot ;D) on pods that, the bigger the better.
The scooter people while maybe on a "mine is bigger then yours basis" rather then true research have some impressive size podfilters.
Room for fitting may of course be a problem.

I want a dry clutch set on my 3XV  :-[

So running premix huh?  All you need to do is block off the pump area with a plate, and remove all the associated oil stuff?
If your not mixing gas, your not hauling ass!

rvt2002

Yup. All the heating hose are gone on my carbs.
