After buying my SP with the RS motor a few months back myself and the seller had to come to some arrangement to sort out the problem. So today a soultion was found. He had been put on to an ex race bike in Japan before christmas and asked if I was interested. I looked at a few dodgy photos and we agreed on the price assuming it had the good parts fitted I would take the bike.
He came back from Japan today and the bike will be in the next container. It has been sitting for a while so the motor will need doing but as I am already building up the other SP motor anyway that will be used. It has what looks like Sugo pipes as they are the same as the ones I have here, Sugo 70 CDI, 36mm carbs with the covers and I assume Sugo internals but who knows, no airbox, TZ clock bracket, the fairing is missing just the seat unit is there. The history is unknown but perhaps its an F3 bike.
So now I have a few months to finish my RGV and get rid of it to make space.

That sounds like a good bike you have found . Good luck .

You got to many bike now ;D Wouldnt be the TZ way better than the TZR to track it?

epa police

Yes but I want to answer the question of which is better once and for all, the TZ or the TZR, its for the forums benefit honest  ;D Anyway I already have way too many bikes so what does one more matter  :)

Neal

I agree.  ;D
What's one more bike !

It must have a Sugo or similar loom also because the CDI is mounted under the dash like the TZ

Neal

May I ask how much it will cost once it has landed ?

I believe that these ex race bikes deserve a new lease on life , even if they only end up in a museum is better than them rotting away .

I dont like having to many bikes. its hard to maintain and cost hole in my pocket.  ;D

Looking more and more like an SPR, the CDI is 3XV-7K and according to the Gecko list thats the SPR item  8)
I was working out the price on all the Kit parts on this thing and its up over $2000 using Geckos price list. As long as all the parts are still good I will be in good shape. I will use one of the spare TZ fairings on it as well if it fits, I have three spare fairings.

The container is being packed right now and leaving Japan next week so I should have my hands on the bike mid March  8). My RGV is getting the door to accomodate it and as it has the kiss of death on it anyway I will be glad to see it gone.
