My motorcycle addiction runs deep...  at least my enjoyment for fixing them.

Forgive me, the old forum had my tzr project page.. But that's long gone... I am working on a 3xv engine but that has been on the back burner since the machine has been running decent... I'lll post it when the time comes I promise.

Here is this years project..  I have always liked metric cruisers.... But I don't like the HD wanna-Bs.  ErrrRrr of course I like the R6 at the showroom here...  I don't like payments however...  But...  (you get the idea)

Doesn't look to bad... but.. Rotten exhaust, cracked bits in frame, missing oem parts uhh!

Shrunken carb joiners.. replaced

Frame to weld

Parts paint striped and tumbled

Begin Powder Coating

Continue PCing

Contine PCing

Soda blast tank

PC more than you can handle.. There's a bad spot not in picture...  Pinstipe should hide it...

Blast stereo, lift weights

PC more

Getting the picture

and more

Should have just bought an aftermarket china resevoir...

Begin Assembly

Go over budget on sweet OEM Exhuast

Go under budget on tires.. (it's no sport bike)....  And ya I gave in and didn't pc the wheels, I want to ride it this year.

Think to yourself... Valve train..... pFFFFFFTTT!   Eventually learned I need 17 news shims to set everything right.  (ongoing)

More to come

Looks like the the green rust cutting pyramid media to me Paul.  I've used it myself in my tumbler.  It works well, but you have to re-plate or paint whatever you clean as it will stip off any zinc, paint or other plating thats on the item.

Works well tho...put it, turn it on, and walk away and do something else why it vibrates away all the rust.
If your not mixing gas, your not hauling ass!
