This was covered a few years back from DanMac, but no specific answer
My idle is too low.

Hi, All (again),
I hope someone can offer advice on setting up my 1KT carbs after refurbishment?
Following the manual, firstly you sync the carbs (no problem). But then the manual tells me to adjust the idle speed, access gaining through a hole in the frame. These ideal speed jets on my carbs are sealed and no adjustment can be made. I assume this is because of environmental issues?
Each of my carbs has a knurled screw head on the carb inside. Is this my idle screw?
If so? Can you advise me, what is the process for setting this up correctly? How can you ensure that both screws have the same adjustments?

So i have the holes there, as well.
But the screw does not have a slot or philips on it to turn.
so is there a special tool that grips the outside of the kurnled screw.

really? mine has a jis cross head, its a pain to get to but its there. might want to verify again. near impossible to see unless you pull the fairing off.

I do have the fairing off.
And put a flashlight in there.

but does not seem to be any slots for adjusting.

Time to get my 15 year old daughters eyes on it.

Thanks so far.
