Looking for 4FL servo?? 3+1 wiring

I recently bought Tzr125 4FL 1998, but without the servomotor assemby.

I only found one free conector (4pin but only three wires go to it [brown, grey and black]) + one free yellow/black wire (mayby for RPM). So i have 3+1 servo?
I searched on the internet and only found 4+1 and 2+1 servomotors.

So my question is: do 3+1 4FL servomotors even exists and where i can buy them??

Hi,

I've only seen 4+1 and 2+1.

4+1 => Need extra box to drive the YPVS (CDI or dedicated box)
2+1 => Don't need extra box as the electronics is in the servo motor.

4+1 is on most RZ350 500, TZR250.
2+1 is on bike based on Minarelli engine like DTR125/200, TZR125 later models.

On my DTR200 have got a 2+1.

You must look the wiring loom diagram to be sure.

I found 3+1 servomotor, apparently they are only in 2gen TZR125 4FL

But.... they also have 3 steel cables. First and second is for valve but I have no idea what the third is for.

Anybody has any idea??

I didn't know this (but not 4FL expect).
I could ask a friend who owns a paire of 4FL for racing in 25HP class.

The 3 cables should be :
- 2 for the YPVS valve opening and closing
- 1 for the 2 strokes oil pump like other Yams

The cable to oil pump is there to keep open the oil pump on high revs while the throttle is shut.

Can you also ask him if the valve cables are the same as i the 4+1 and 2+1 servomotors?

(i only have third cable, so can I buy missing valve cables from other yamaha 2strokes? like from DT125 or TDR125 [same engines])

I'll ask if he has 3 or 4 wires on his bikes.

Length of cable is important due to YPVS servo mounting on the bike.
DTR125 cables are very short (15-20cm) because the servo is under the fuel tank just above the head.

TZR125 2RH have 260mm hosing

But what cable lenght should I buy for 4FL

The mounting for the servo is on the left side of the engine so... pretty close to the valve but in the photo they seem kinda long so which ones?

If you can relocate the servo above the head (in the frame) then you could use 29L-1133E-00 cables
Or try to find second hand ones.

I'm waiting for a reply from my friend on 4 wires servo but he told me that OEM cables are NLA.
Due to the quality and the bending, water is going in the cables then they rust and seize.

I think the best solution is trying to find used ones and have them overhauled (changing the inner cable).

I could check if used ones are for sell in France.

According to the wiring diagram and my friend feedback, it seems that sky blue wire does nothing.
item 9 = CDI
item 17 = servo

To be confirmed.

Ye i thought so i even measured circuit continuity on sky blue wire and it seem to be conected to the neutral (- on battery) (I measured 0,3 Ohm)

But I still don't know if i have to buy valve cables specificly for 4FL and I can't find any 4FL cables

If you find any of the ridiculously long Power Valve cables please let me know! I have the same setup on my 1993/4 4HW...

SERVO:
3+1 servo exist I even bought one near me for 100 PLN (20 EUR) (guy didn't know what he was selling XD). I should have 3 cables. 2 to control exhaust and 1 for autolube pump.

CABLES:
I haven't found these long ass servo cables but i bought these from aliexpress (link under post) they are pain in the ass to install because they are little bit to short however they work in tzr125.

For education purpose 

On DTR200 or 125, the servo does not operate the oil pump.
Not sure on the TZR125 4FL if it is the same.
