the TZR 125 4DL are based on frame TZR250 3MA so faring from 3MA fits 4DL

the parts under the seat are different due to the 2 exhaust on 3MA

the same story goes for TZR125 4FL (pichture) as it's base are frame TZR 250 3XV

How do I know? Bin there done that :-)

Yes and no. ;-) Depends on the model, 4DL1 has the side fairings of the 3MA, the 4DL3 has different fairing without bolted on air scoop. The 4DL2 (a.k.a. SP) is the same as the 4DL1 when we talk about fairings.

Hi Matt, hows the tzr going?

Is the nose cone the one with the more square headlight like the 250 3ma or the more round one like the 3xv?

I have a 3xv and turned out my nosecone was wrong for my bike but might be right for yours.

I'm in West sussex so would have a look. I also have a few other 4dl fairing parts in varying conditions, mainkly seat unit bits I think and the rest I have are from my previous 4DL3 1995 RR model.

I think 250 one is smaller than 125 one.

I'm also from West Sussex. You may have the nose cone from the tzr 125 rr 4dl (mk3) which lacks the small side light above the main headlight as seen on the earlier 4dl models.

Hi All
Bought a set of clocks many moons ago for my hybrid TZR250 2Ma however after checking with people more knowledgeable than me ,it appears they are not compatible with my 2ma wiring. I intend to sell them, however I can't remember if they are 3ma or off a tzr125 - are they the same , Don't want to advertise something that is incorrect - many thanks

That's awesome! It's a small world!

So I have both. The one that came with my 3XV (in boxes of bits) is a 4FL nose code I'm pretty sure (these re not the same as the 3XV nose cone as mentioned) but I then also had a mk3 RR 4DL and still have the fairings from it as I had it stripped down for for a 350 build before the 3XV found it's way to me and took over so the 4dl3 was sold as parts.
