Hi

T think I know the answer to this one, but I'll ask anyway.

A few years back, a NOS F3 spec. cylinder head popped up on Ebay.  Factory produced in the original packaging (with the 07 ending to the part number - if I remember)

It looked very trick and it was just before Christmas, so I treated myself.

It is still unused in the box.  Is there any point in using it without any other F3 kit parts?  I have a Zeel fitted, a Dynatec coil and Martin's pipes.  Otherwise standard cylinders, stator/flywheel, carbs, etc.  I'm unlikely to ever get the other kit parts - much though I'd like to.

Or - as I suspect, will it give more headache than performance gain for what will remain a road bike.

why not test it? maybe some adjustments to the jets/Spark plug/Timing and the squish needed but i dont think it will lead to problems... but also not to a massive increase in power...
Have you measured the upsidedown volume on the F3 Head? so you could compare to a standard Head and see how big the difference is.
What Pipe-Spec did you get from Martin?
